Each year, all parents whose daughters are members of Pi Beta Phi at the University of Oklahoma are invited to be a part of the OU Angel Keepers Pi Beta Phi Parents' Club!  We welcome and encourage your participation throughout each year that your daughter is an active member of Pi Phi! The four years go by quickly! So get involved today!

 

Getting involved in the Angel Keepers Parents Club offers a variety of opportunities for you to connect with and enhance your daughter’s sorority experience at OU and for you, yourself, to develop friendships with the parents of your daughter's Pi Phi sisters!


Throughout the year, Angel Keepers provides support to the girls in various ways.
Here are a few of the fun things we do:

 

  • Provide a special meal and snacks for the girls during Work Week, Recruitment and Finals
  • Provide occasional "Sisterhood Sunday evening meals before their chapter meeting
  • Organize events for Friday night of both the Fall Family Weekend and Spring Family Weekend
  • Host Halloween and Valentine’s Day parties for the girls and provide treats
  • Decorate the House for Christmas and provide treats
  • Purchase graduation gifts for graduating seniors (Fall Graduates and Spring Graduates)
  • Provide appreciation gifts for the House Mom 
  • Provide financial assistance to help purchase special items for the House

We need volunteers for all of the above, specifically, people to help: 

  • Order the meals and snacks
  • Help to organize the Family Weekend Friday night reception
  • Donate to and/or compile auction baskets for our Silent Auction held on Saturday of Family Weekend
  • Order, deliver, and/or display the treats for the Halloween & Valentine parties
  • Select, order, and deliver/present gifts for the graduates, House Mom, etc. 
  • Staff the check-in table at various events

As a member of the Angel Keepers Club, you'll have access to the member Membership Toolkit website, where you can sign up to volunteer for events and join other parents in providing support and encouragement for the chapter.

 

In addition to the website, the club has a Facebook page (OU Angel Keepers Parent Group) which posts, at least once per month, information pertaining to current and upcoming activities, as well as photos of past activities!
